Segheria 3B snc is located in Trivignano Udinese, in the north eastern region of Italy, about 80 km. far from Venice. It has an area of 40.000 sq.mt., including 8.000 sq.mt. under cover.

We buy and test the raw timber (logs) in the European forests directly.

The second step is the log cutting into boards of different thicknesses.

The boards are unloaded using special sucking-disks and then stacked.

The third step is the drying-process that is made in two ways:

1) In the kiln-drying rooms, that have a total capacity of cbm 600.

2) Air-drying in our store yards.

After kiln-drying the boards are stacked under the roofings.

The fourth working process is the cutting of the boards into semi-finished elements.
We can meet any customer’s requirement concerning thickness, width and length; also shaped parts can be produced.

We deal with : beech, ash and oak. The available thicknesses are from 25 mm to 100 mm.

For customers who require a moisture content at 8-10% we use the special sealed dry-kiln room whose capacity is of cbm 20.
