CONSOLIDATED EXPERIENCE IN THE PRODUCTION OF SEMI-FINISHED WOOD PRODUCTS

RAW MATERIALS

Segheria 3B gets its timber supplies from the best certified forests of Central Europe, managed in a sustainable way and with replanting policies. The woods mainly used are Beech, Ash, Oak, Cherry, Maple, Lebanese Cedar, Paulownia, Canaletto Walnut and Poplar.

SAWING

Segheria 3B is equipped with innovative cutting systems including a Debarker and a Log saw for transforming the logs into wood planks of different thickness, starting from 25 mm and going up to 100 mm. The subsequent processing stages involve the production of curved and shaped semi-finished wood products.

DRYING

Segheria 3B has an efficient drying plant and vacuum drying chambers for the processing stage that involves removing moisture from the wood in order to improve its properties and adaptability for the various intended uses of the semi-finished wood products.

WAREHOUSE

Segheria 3B has a large covered and uncovered warehouse for storing the wood planks required for producing semi-finished products. Segheria 3B’s logistics are able to respond effectively to the various requests in terms of volumes and diversification.

CUTTING

Having taken the planks from the warehouse, Segheria 3B moves on to a further processing stage that involves cutting, processing and transforming the wood planks into shaped and semi-finished wooden elements for various uses.

TRANSPORT

Segheria 3B efficiently oversees the transport of wooden planks and semi-finished wood products, using its own means of transport capable of satisfying the logistics and delivery needs of all our customers.  A timely and efficient transport service is also available for the delivery of firewood.
